Hope this email finds you well!
November:
I spent the bulk of it practicing vanilla JavaScript and React tutorials to brush up on the skill set. These are the fundamentals that power the front-facing part of web applications.
I also learned (on a high level) the top AWS services and how you can stack them together. For instance, there is a software called Chime that can start an instant video call with anyone, and then you can use Rekognition to analyze a person's sentiment analysis, age, and more. Very useful for Telehealth applications.
The popular thing my tech friends are talking about is chat.openAi.com. This is basically a consumer version of GPT-3, an AI software that's been trained trillions of times with existing written information of the internet. It has bias, but works well.
The All-in podcast on Dec 4th said this will be a billion-dollar industry, especially if fine-tuned with proprietary data.
I see a future where developers start OpenAI powered no-code tools for industry specific use-cases. These future tools can help reduce staff overhead and administrative costs of companies, universities, or hospitals, to name a few.
Shoutout to Julio and Alex, who both hyped me up again about GPT-3.
Grateful for your support on the entrepreneurship journey. Until next time.
