Happy March…time flies. Hope this email finds you well!
I've spent the last two months at work building Proctor and User pages for the next set of diagnostic medical procedures that millions of eMed customers will use. Some of the procedures I built include: Lyme, Strep, Sinus, Drug Testing, and Covid-Flu.
I've spent a big chunk of my time meeting professionals in the Miami community face to face. I try to make friends with more established people by offering to help in any way I can.
Two weeks ago, I approached Natalia Martinez and Chris Adamo, hosts of the famous Happy Hour at the Freehand, and they were receptive to working with me! Hoping I can make their lives easier by setting up some automation workflows.

Last August, I made a pitch deck for some discovery work I was doing in the HVAC space. As I was searching for a problem to solve in this old-school, unsexy space, I realized it was incredibly challenging to gain customer insights and learn as an outsider. Since then, I've been seeking to meet with industry professionals and have met with two key leaders at large cap HVAC companies.
These are some areas I want to explore more on.
- Aggregating existing data and productizing it across the value chain (very broad, I know)
- how insurance can be improved for HVAC companies
- How to lower energy costs with remote monitoring solutions
I wish I had more clarity as to where this leads, but will be following up with my new friends.
Since 2020, I've made a ton of progress in my professional growth - both in the technical and sales areas. It has been more years of rinse and repeat: setting up meetings, figuring out what people need, and building things that can help me work faster.
