I hope this email finds you doing well and hope you had a great 4th of July.
I'm excited to showcase some projects I've been working on in May in June.
For my employer, emed.com, I created an Hours of Operation page, here is the demo.
Depending on the date and time, this page presents three different screens. It serves as a protective measure to enhance the customer's experience when the specific service is inaccessible due to anticipated limitations such as UPS operating hours and partner lab availability. If the service is closed for holiday or outside regular operating hours, it will show which hours/days are closed and ask you to click the refresh button to come back again.
I made a cool landing page for weight loss sign up experience showcasing steps of a user's weight loss journey, here is how it looks and a weight loss portal, see how sexy the UI looks.
Other news:
- Huge shoutout to my friend, Natalia, who invited me to visit a renowned, multinational CPG production facility in Miami, showing me the operations. Learned a ton!
- Organized a tech happy hour in Downtown Miami that had 16 attendees
- I spoke at the WashU Florida Regional Cabinet Meeting with scholarship donors, explaining my background and story.
- I finished 2 books "Never Split the Difference" and "Poor Charlie's Almanack"
Poor Charlie's Almanack included great wisdom on how to protect yourself from psychological tendencies. He has a list of 25 that I encourage people to review and study.
How you can help:
I will be in San Francisco from July 7th through July 10th. Going to be staying on Harrison Street. Will be attending an event at GitHub HQ on the 7th. If you know any cool peeps in SF, I would love to invite them to a dinner event.
Any of you developers see Apple's WWDC?
I'm thrilled about the developer updates in iOS 17, which include the introduction of new API's that support the new features announced (Call Kit, SharePlay, Live Activities, Continuity Camera)
The enhancements to zoom in macOS Sonoma will make remote presentations more professional, it overlays the slides on the background of the person. This will make Sales over zoom even more impactful.
Thank you for your continued support, and please reply to this email if you have any exciting updates or know anyone in SF.
If you're in your 20s, you're a time billionaire, there's time. That being said, don't waste time, set a drop-dead date for something you want to learn or something you want to pursue. Lesson learned from my friend Blake, who's been a friend/mentor.
Grateful for your support on the entrepreneurship journey.
