Happy October, This update is short.
At my day job:
At my current role at eMed.com, I'm spearheading a hybrid delivery service that utilizes Uber and FedEx APIs. This aims to streamline the timely arrival of Tasso Inc's blood samples to a central lab in Kansas. The demo was a hit—Uber was activated for 15/15 simultaneous test users without a hitch. I created an architecture to now take this project to the next stage and closer to a production-level app.
Here's a 30-second video for a quick look.
I'm also dissecting the unit economics, particularly how to divvy up the FedEx and Uber costs between eMed and the customer. Still unclear, but going to keep honing in on the product.
Other news:
I finished reading "$100m Leads" by Alex Hormozi
Upcoming Events:
I'm headed to San Francisco from October 6-11 for an AI Summit. If you recommend I meet with any peeps while I'm there, let me know.
How you can help:
Do you know anyone that works in Civil Engineering, specifically consultants who design plans? I am currently trying to understand if we can use tech to reduce the turnaround time.
Thank you for your continued support, and please reply to this email if you have any exciting updates or if you have a business problem that you need help taking a stab at.
Grateful for your support on this journey.
P.S.: I've come to appreciate that marketing and lead generation are more critical skills than I initially thought
