Hope this email finds you well!
At this point I'm moving away from my automation consulting challenge. I'm still passionate about this but have shifted my time to finding potential co-founder friends and a problem we could be interested in solving together.
In the month of February:
- Visited WashU and met with some advisors and professors to gain high level feedback and catch up
- Have made 2 new friends who are co-founder material and who get excited about starting something
- Have explored 3 startup ideas and have been talking to potential customers. This ensures I validate assumptions and ensure I truly understand what I would be solving.
Big shoutout to Brian who encouraged me to double down on a full-time job or otherwise don't do it. Take advantage of what you have right now and when you stop learning, move on right away. Instead of doing a side-hustle, spend months planning your next big move. (This is what I'm doing now!)
How you can help:
If you have any friends who are founders, I'm doing a quick survey. If you could reply with some responses, I would appreciate it! What is the single biggest challenge you/they have faced as a startup founder?
I've interviewed 10 founders out of 50. Help me get to 50!!!
